Tip:  e (no accent)=and,  pronounced eeeee; é (accent)=is (are) from the verb ser, pronounced eh

Bom dia!  Which of these is not a place in a school/college?  corredor, recreio, mochila, cantina, sala de professores
Tip:  Words that end in consonants (like r, z…) make plurals by adding -es  E.g. corredores, professores

Bom dia! A professora escreveu a data no quadro. What did the teacher do? a) wrote something on the board b) wrote something on the picture Is the teacher male or female? What did he/she write?
Tip: em+o=no (in/on the – masculine)

Tip: -ao at the end often makes things bigger E.g. porta(=door), portao(=gate)
